Serve at QuadCity

Following Jesus means learning to live like Jesus. Throughout the Gospels, we see that Jesus did not come to be served, but to serve others—and as His disciples, we are called to live the same way. At QuadCity, serving is one of the primary ways we grow as disciples. When we serve, we reflect the heart of Christ, strengthen the church, and help others encounter the love of Jesus.

Everything we do at QuadCity flows from our mission: Making More and Better Disciples of Jesus. Everywhere. Always. Serving is one of the ways that mission becomes reality. God has uniquely gifted every believer, and the church functions best when each person uses their gifts to serve others. When people step in and serve, the church becomes a place where lives are changed, families are strengthened, and people encounter Jesus.

Serving is not just about filling a role—it is about being part of what God is doing through His church. As we serve, we grow in our faith, build meaningful relationships, and help create environments where others can experience the hope of Christ. Every role matters, and every person has a place to serve.

There are many ways to serve at QuadCity, and every role plays an important part in helping our church carry out its mission of Making More and Better Disciples of Jesus. Everywhere. Always.

Start by filling out the Volunteer Interest Form to let us know you’re interested in serving at QuadCity. This helps us learn a little about you and begin the process of connecting you with a ministry team where your gifts, passions, and availability can best be used to serve others and strengthen the church.

After submitting the interest form, we’ll email you a Ministry Application. This short form takes about ten minutes to complete and helps us better understand your availability, areas of interest, and how God may have uniquely gifted you to serve.

Our goal is not simply to fill roles, but to help you find a place where you can serve meaningfully as part of the mission of QuadCity.

We’ll also email you a brief background check release form, which we require all volunteers to complete. This step helps us create safe and secure environments for everyone at QuadCity—especially the children, students, and families we serve each week.

Providing safe spaces where people can grow in their faith is a priority for us, and this process helps us steward that responsibility well.

Once your application is complete, we’ll invite you to meet with a member of our team. This conversation gives us the opportunity to get to know you better, talk through potential ministry opportunities, and help determine the best place for you to serve.

It’s also a chance for you to ask questions, learn more about QuadCity, and hear about what we believe and why. If a particular team isn’t the right fit, we’ll gladly help you explore other ways to get connected.
