At QuadCity, everything we do flows from this mission. We believe discipleship is the lifelong process of learning to follow Jesus, becoming more like Him, and helping others do the same. Jesus didn’t call people to simply attend gatherings—He called them to live like Him. As we follow Christ together, we grow in faith, love one another deeply, and live on mission wherever God has placed us.

Our goal is simple:
To help people live like Jesus in every area of life.

Live Like Jesus

Following Jesus means more than believing the right things—it means becoming more like Him.

As disciples, we seek to grow in the ways Jesus lived:
  • Loving God wholeheartedly
  • Loving people sacrificially
  • Living according to God’s Word
  • Serving others with humility
  • Sharing the hope of the gospel

Discipleship happens as we intentionally pursue these things in community with other believers.

Ways to Grow as a Disciple

At QuadCity, discipleship happens in several different environments designed to help people grow in their faith and relationships with others.

Life Groups

Life Groups are one of the primary environment for building community at QuadCity.

These groups meet regularly to study Scripture, pray together, and encourage one another in following Jesus in everyday life.

Life Groups exist for people in many different stages of life, including young adults, families, and individuals.

Discipleship Groups

Discipleship Groups are smaller, more intentional groups of four to five men or women who meet regularly for deeper spiritual growth and accountability.

These groups focus on:
  • Studying Scripture together
  • Confessing sin and encouraging one another
  • Practicing spiritual disciplines
  • Helping one another follow Jesus more faithfully

1-on-1 Discipleship

Sometimes the best environment for growth is a one-on-one relationship. Through God’s Call to Obedience, individuals meet together to walk through Scripture and learn how to follow Jesus more faithfully in everyday life.

These relationships help believers grow through:
  • Personal study of God’s Word
  • Intentional accountability
  • Encouragement in obedience to Christ
