At QuadCity, everything we do flows from one simple mission: Making more and better disciples of Jesus. Everywhere. Always. This mission comes directly from Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:18–20, where He sends His followers to go and make disciples of all nations. We believe the church exists to help people know Jesus, follow Him faithfully, and grow into lives that increasingly reflect Him.

Because of this calling, we are committed to being a church that is deeply rooted in Scripture, marked by obedience, passionate about multiplying disciples, and devoted to living life together in Christ-centered community. These convictions shape the way we teach, lead, serve, and pursue the mission God has given us.

The following core values help guide who we are and how we live out that mission as a church family.

It’s part of our DNA and it’s what we do best. We consider ourselves to be devoted students of God’s word. This is why we don't just teach bible themes—we teach bible texts. We believe that the Bible is divinely inspired by God, without error, and given to us so that we may know and understand the truth of God and His love for us.

Our church values obedience and surrendered living. Each week, our hope is to bring just as much application (if not more) as we do information. We believe that true disciples of Jesus are obedient to His commands and that followers of Jesus should be contributors to what the local church has to offer—not just consumers.

Making more and better disciples isn't just what we do—it’s the core of who we are. If you call QuadCity home, that means it's the core of who you are too. We are a church that empowers and equips our people to multiply disciples at home, school, work, and beyond.

You are not in this alone. In fact, we believe that we were designed by God to live life in a gospel-centered community. Because of this, we strive to foster environments that promote and develop relationships that help us look more like Jesus at all times.

First and foremost, we at QuadCity Christian Church believe salvation is a free gift of God offered out of His grace. Salvation comes only through faith and not works. As such, we believe there is no particular human work that can earn anyone’s way into heaven.
 
We believe faith is more than just belief. Saving faith requires trust in God’s word such that the believer is willing to go beyond the cognitive understanding of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ to actual obedience to the teachings and commands of Jesus Christ. That obedience includes baptism as our own spiritual participation in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
 
Our mission at QuadCity Christian Church is to "make more and better disciples of Jesus. Everywhere. Always." Jesus Christ Himself instructed us to make disciples by baptizing them and teaching them to obey everything he commanded (Matthew 28:19-20). Just as the apostles of Jesus Christ and the early church were faithful to Jesus Christ, we strive to do the same. We believe God intended baptism to be the first biblical expression of personal faith by one saved by the grace of God. Because this is a personal act of faith that requires trust in God’s word, we do not infant baptize. We also believe baptism should be done by immersion in water because it best reflects the meaning of the original Greek word in the New Testament, “baptizo.” Further, immersion in water best symbolizes the significance of baptism being a believer’s death, burial, and resurrection in Christ.

At QuadCity Christian Church, we believe both women and men bear the image of God and are absolutely equal to each other in essence, dignity, and value, yet different by divine design. As part of God’s created order, women and men are to have different, yet complementary roles and responsibilities in the home and church. In particular, men are primarily responsible as leaders that display the same sacrificial love Christ has for the church. Women are to submit to that leadership and help fulfill the role of men by utilizing their gifts, skills, talents and insights. These representation and responsibility distinctions, God’s grace to man and woman, are to be protected, preserved, and practiced for God’s glory and our joy.
