From Doubt to Faith

The resurrection of Jesus is the most extraordinary claim in history—but it didn’t begin with certainty. In John 20, the very people who knew Jesus best were filled with confusion, doubt, and disbelief when they encountered the empty tomb. In this Easter message, we explore how the first followers of Jesus moved from skepticism to unshakable conviction after encountering the risen Christ. Using the idea of a “Belief-O-Meter,” we consider where we personally stand on the spectrum of belief and what it means to take a step of faith in response to the resurrection. The invitation of Easter isn’t just to celebrate the resurrection—it’s to respond to it.
