What is EXCEL?

EXCEL began as a two-year generosity initiative designed to help QuadCity grow in biblical generosity and advance the mission Jesus has given us: to make more and better disciples of Jesus. Everywhere. Always.

Rooted in 2 Corinthians 8:7, EXCEL is about more than funding projects. It is about discipleship. It is an invitation for every person who calls QuadCity home to take a next step in generosity — whether that means beginning to give, growing in consistency, moving toward tithing, or practicing sacrificial generosity for the sake of the gospel.

Through EXCEL, we are asking God to form us into better disciples while using our generosity to create space, support ministry, strengthen missions, and reach more people with the hope of Jesus.

Generosity is Discipleship

We believe generosity is not simply something disciples do. It is part of who disciples become.

As we follow Jesus, we grow in trust, surrender, sacrifice, and joy. EXCEL helps us take intentional steps in the grace of giving, not out of pressure or obligation, but as a response to the generosity of God toward us.

The Goals of EXCEL

Primary Goal: 100% Engagement

Our primary goal has always been 100% engagement. EXCEL is not just for a few people with financial capacity. It is an invitation for every person at QuadCity to ask, “What is my next step in generosity?”
  • Begin giving for the first time
  • Give consistently
  • Move toward tithing
  • Increase generosity beyond the tithe
  • Make a sacrificial EXCEL commitment
  • Pray regularly for the mission of QuadCity

Secondary Goal: $14.5 Million

What does this $14.5 go towards? 
  • $6 Million — Current Ministry (Ongoing)

  • $500 Thousand — Prescott Balcony (Complete)
  • $7 Million — Prescott Valley Building (Ongoing)

Can I still make a commitment?
Yes. Whether you were part of QuadCity when EXCEL began or you are newer to our church family, you can still make an EXCEL commitment today. The original initiative invited people into a two-year generosity journey, and you can begin your two-year journey now.

Is EXCEL giving different from regular giving?
EXCEL giving is connected to the overall mission and ministry of QuadCity, but it represents a specific commitment to grow in generosity above and beyond your current giving. For some, EXCEL may be their first step into consistent giving. For others, it may be generosity beyond their regular tithe.

Can I update a previous commitment?
Yes. If your circumstances have changed or you would like to adjust your previous EXCEL commitment, you can update it at any time. A commitment is a prayerful step of faith, and we understand that life circumstances can change.

EXCEL is not about equal gifts. It is about equal sacrifice and faithful participation. Our primary goal has always been 100% engagement, because everyone has a next step in generosity. No gift is too small when it is given with faith, joy, and a desire to honor God.
How do I give to EXCEL?
You can give to EXCEL through QuadCity’s online giving platform by selecting the appropriate EXCEL giving option. You may give a one-time gift or set up recurring giving as part of your commitment.

Are commitments legally binding?
No. EXCEL commitments are not legally binding. They are prayerful commitments between you and God as you seek to grow in the grace of giving. If your circumstances change, your commitment can be adjusted.
